Part-Time Writer/Internet Marketing Assistant (San Mateo)

Help our fast-growing online marketing company to expand its network of websites and generate leads for leading technology companies by delivering prime content.

You’ll be involved in content creation and SEO for a variety of marketing projects, primarily writing and editing content for websites and marketing assets. Other responsibilities include assisting with social media and traditional PR programs.

As a writer/marketing assistant you will gain valuable hands-on marketing experience in one of the hottest marketing sectors today. If you are interested in search engine marketing and optimization, and spend a lot of time online, this is a great opportunity to build your marketing skills.

The ideal candidate will be:

• A great writer. Exceptional writing skills and a firm grasp of the English language, spelling and punctuation. Must be comfortable writing and reviewing copy—we need you to generate outstanding content to optimize our sites, so this point is an absolute must.
• Extremely Internet savvy, likes to maintain relationships, get research, read news, and shop online.
• Exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with MS Office required.
• Familiar with web site setup and administration.
• Have an English, Marketing, or related degree.
• Familiarity with enterprise software is a plus.

This is a part-time position for 30 hours per week, with some flexibility to fit your schedule.
